With this application form, I grant The Heckscher Museum of Art permission to use the image of my submitted artwork in the Gallery on the Museum's Long Island Biennial website, along with my name and website and/or e-mail address. If my artwork is selected for inclusion in the Long Island Biennial 2018 exhibition, I give The Heckscher Museum of Art permission to use the image of my artwork and its object information in educational, promotional, and media materials.

I acknowledge that The Heckscher Museum of Art is not responsible for damage to my artwork during transportation to and from the Museum. The Museum will insure the object during the duration of the exhibition. The Museum will not accept artworks that are unsafe, unstable, or inappropriate. Only artworks selected by the jurors and that meet all entry criteria will be accepted for exhibition.

If my artwork is selected for inclusion in the Long Island Biennial 2018 exhibition, I recognize that:

  1. Artwork must be delivered on July 30 and be picked up on November 12 (during designated hours) and cannot be withdrawn during this period.
  2. The Museum will not store artwork before or after the exhibition. (NOTE: A fee of $50 per day will be charged for works not picked up on November 12.)
  3. Artists assume all transportation costs.
